What it does
A Sunday evening look-ahead that previews the full week. Shows your meeting schedule, personal plans, open loops carried over, goal progress, and a 7-day weather forecast. It also updates your weekly targets in your goals file so you start Monday with a clear focus.
Connections used
Also uses: tasks (Slackdone), recent digests, goals file, weather (Open-Meteo).
How to use
> /weekly
Or schedule it via the menu bar app (recommended Sunday at 6 PM).
How it works
- Calculates the upcoming week (Monday through Sunday)
- Pulls data in parallel: full week calendar, tasks, recent digests, email, messages, weather forecast, goals
- Identifies recurring vs. new meetings
- Checks goal progress against monthly targets
- Cross-references open loops from recent digests (verifies they're still unresolved)
- Writes the check-in: weather, meeting highlights, personal plans, focus areas, goal check-in, open loops
- Syncs financials if running interactively
- Updates "This week" targets in
goals/2026.md
Output
Displayed directly in the terminal. High-level view of the week — not a daily breakdown. Highlights notable meetings, flags conflicts, and surfaces anything that needs prep. Updated weekly targets are saved to your goals file.
